Function
As a Construction Calculator, you will play a crucial role within the construction company. You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects. Your tasks will include:

Thorough analysis of construction drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine the required quantities of materials, labor, and costs.- Creating accurate cost estimates and budgets, including determining prices for materials, subcontractors, and other necessary resources.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors, to present timely and accurate quotations.
- Evaluating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to identify the most cost-effective solutions.
- Contributing to improvements in calculation processes and knowledge sharing within the team.
Your profile
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Completed education in a relevant construction discipline, such as construction engineering, civil engineering, or a similar field.
- Demonstrable experience as a Construction Calculator in the construction sector, preferably with diverse projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction materials, cost calculations, and pricing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Analytical thinking and precision when performing calculations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Experience with calculation software and MS Office applications is a plus.
