The Strategic Business Unit delivers metrology precision hard- and software solutions that enable our customers to meet highest quality standards. Your position
  • take over responsibility in an innovative business development team in global software sales from day one

    enable global ZEISS sales entities to professionally sell innovative software (including aftersales) solutions in B2B settings
  • continuously develop creative software sales campaigns and ensure global realization and success
  • drive the implementation of the ZEISS software strategy in direct and indirect sales channels by building up the required competences and capacities for new products and the ZEISS Quality Suite ecosystem
  • shape software innovation by sharing and jointly defining global market requirements for ZEISS software solutions with headquarters business functions
  • built a trustful network with the global ZEISS sales entities and establish state of the art and effective enablement sales strategies, trainings, and campaigns
  • closely collaborate with #teamZEISS in the global sales entities and ZEISS sales partners across the world as well as with other headquarter functions such as software product management, marketing, software development, IT, or legal
The position will allow you to gain valuable insights into the ZEISS businesses on a global scale and will enable you to actively build-up your personal network across the company – this is absolutely an excellent starting point for your career at ZEISS.
Your Profile
  • You have a Master’s degree in a technology field (IT, engineering, etc.) or in a business field with a deep technological affinity
  • You have 4+ years of work experience in selling software as well as shaping and managing global direct/ indirect sales channels, ideally in an industrial (metrology) and/or B2B environment
  • You are a strong networker with experience in working in global, cross-functional teams
  • You have a proactive attitude and high level of autonomy
  • You are very experienced in using analytical, strategic, and communication skills
  • You use a structured and result-oriented way of working with high customer orientation
  • You have business fluent knowledge of English and German, further languages are an advantage
