The Logistics Sensing Group within Honeywell Safety & Sensing Technologies, has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Account Manager selling software and hardware technologies.

As a Senior Account Manager your territory will cover DACH region of Europe. You are responsible for developing sales of barcode scanning hardware and software technologies. To be successful, you must identify new OEM customers, sales channel partners including system integrators and independent software vendors, by motivating them to design Honeywell scanning and imaging solutions into their products. This role requires you to understand the business objectives of the customer, and use cases in retail, healthcare and supply chain. Must be able to deliver the value proposition of the many hardware and software products and support the design in process with our existing and expanding customer base. Must be self–motivated with a proven track record of delivering results in software/technology sales. The selected candidate must be able to travel up to 50%.

The role will require you to work with the local European based sales and marketing team and the Global line of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute customer visits (both virtually and face to face) to drive demand for our products and solutions.
  • Manage and plan accounts
  • Identify opportunities
  • Articulate and deliver value proposition
  • Maintain a pipeline of business opportunities
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Manage momentum through the sales cycle
  • Establish rapport with customers
  • Forecast orders rate and revenue conversion
  • Participate in regional and industry trade shows
  • Support the channel of authorized distributors (ADs) and partner base

YOU MUST HAVE

  • A proven record of success in delivering sales growth and meeting/exceeding quota.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years’ commercial experience.
  • Experience in Industrial selling, B2B.
  • Experience in working with channel selling
  • Experience with using Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced English level.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% both domestically and sometimes internationally.
  • To be self-motivated
  • Excellent time management

WE VALUE

  • Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management related to barcode scanning or vision systems.
  • Experience selling technology to system integrators, value added partners and independent software vendors (ISV) in the Automated Information and Data Capture (AIDC) sector.
  • Knowledge of the AIDC market landscape including key industry players
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in solution selling into key verticals of logistics, warehousing, retail, medical equipment, document management or access control with knowledge of barcoding applications and industries that use barcodes for data collection.
  • Familiarity with computing platforms and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Android and iOS.
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
