Administration Assistant – Maintenance Department

About the Role

  • The position will provide administrative duties and support to Maintenance team of five along with supporting the Regional Maintenance Team.
  • You will be responsible for the management of data and documentation associated with our preventative and corrective maintenance program.
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • We are looking for a person who will fit the team, will show initiative, be motivated along with being able to have a laugh and enjoy themselves.

Key responsibilities of this job include:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the maintenance team
  • Provide timely and accurate information to queries.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on service delivery.
  • Computer literacy including the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience using Asset Plus or a preventive maintenance software.
  • Experience working within a maintenance department, both hard and soft services
  • Experience working in a health care facility.
  • Knowledge and understanding of trades and services.
