As a Professional Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional makeup services to clients and top-notch makeup training and education to aspiring makeup artists. our expertise, industry knowledge, and passion for the art of makeup will help students develop their skills and prepare them for successful careers in the beauty and fashion industry. You will work closely with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable makeup products, and execute flawless makeup applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the academy's education team to develop comprehensive and up-to-date makeup courses that cover fundamental techniques, advanced skills, and current industry trends.
- Makeup Demonstrations: Conduct live makeup demonstrations to showcase various styles, techniques, and product applications, ensuring students understand the step-by-step process.
- Practical Workshops: Organize and lead hands-on makeup workshops to give students ample opportunities to practice and perfect their makeup application skills under your expert guidance.
- Individual Feedback: Provide personalized feedback and constructive criticism to students, helping them improve their techniques and offering insights into their unique artistic expressions.
- Stay abreast of the latest makeup trends, industry developments, and emerging techniques to incorporate relevant knowledge into the curriculum.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarize students with a wide range of makeup products, their uses, and how to select the right products for different skin types and tones.
- Safety and Hygiene: Educate students on maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene while working with makeup tools and products.
- Portfolio Building: Assist students in creating professional portfolios that showcase their diverse makeup skills and versatility, supporting them in establishing their credibility in the industry.
- Collaborate with guest makeup artists and industry professionals to conduct special workshops and masterclasses, exposing students to diverse perspectives and experiences.
