On behalf of Business Sweden, we are looking for a Senior Accountant for a fun role, in a dynamic and multicultural environment with high energy.
The role as Senior Accountant can be assimilated with an accounting consultant, as you are responsible for a number of offices/units in the world, supervise these and receive accounting, make reconciliations and are responsible for documentation of it. As a Senior Accountant, you sit at our headquarter in WTC, a part of a team of 5-6 people with similar roles and report to Manager Accounting.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for quality assurance of accounting for a number of Business Sweden's offices/units in the world
- Do and document reconciliations for the local offices
- Tax and VAT
- Transfer Pricing
- Contacts with auditors and external advisors
- Accounting according to K3 (alt. IFRS)
- Participation and work with the development of routines and processes
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- We are looking for you who have a relevant university degree such as business administration or equivalent and have several years of experience in qualified accounting.
- A suitable background may be to have worked as an accounting consultant with larger companies or as an accountant in a finance department with several companies and preferably in an international environment.
- You have experience of accounting according to K3 or IFRS and if you have worked with percentage of completion (project) before, we see it as positive.
- You have good IT experience and easy to familiarize yourself with new systems.
- You express yourself easy in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

Since the role includes contacts with several different stakeholders where not all have a background in Finance, it is a prerequisite that you are communicative and have a coaching approach.
