What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for:

  • Supervises and ensures timely and accurate execution of all FP&A activities (e.g., Budget, LRS, Forecast, LT, Management & Statutory Reporting, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Audits, etc.).
  • Leads the reporting processes (analytical management) for finance & sales support and provides recommendations.
  • Leads business & sales support processes (SFE, incentive plans etc.)
  • Provides leadership, consultancy and financial/SME support to various company functions, teams and departments.
  • Proactively advises GM on important business and financial decisions/issues.
  • Lead key initiatives in finance that support the overall strategic goals.
  • Ensure day-to-day Finance, Accounting and General Administration activities are accurately driven according to Corporate Guidelines and Local Requirements.
  • Finds solutions to potential fiscal and social issues with the help of internal and/or external advisors, if needed.
  • Partnering with the business and providing leadership to drive performance/efficiency and bringing value.
  • Provide strategic insight to the organization.
  • Shaping the future of the organization – develop the best team.
  • Lead by example and support efficiency of internal controls.
  • Actively gives to LATAM/ ELMAC finance Team initiatives.
  • Leads or participates in local and international projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience similar position in an international environment OR
  • Master’s degree and 6 years of experience similar position in an international environment OR
  • Degree and 8 years work in similar position in an international environment.
  • Experience in accounting, budgeting and planning, Office Programs as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Crystal Ball.
  • Proficiency in English, both in written and verbal communication.

Preferred Requirements

  • Studies specialized in finance (financial analysis, controlling, accounting, consolidating)
  • Experience in various areas of finance and accounting.
  • Experience of 2 to 3 years in a Management position within an international finance department would be an asset.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Industry knowledge.
  • Basic know-how of applicable laws concerning business admin, taxes (esp. VAT), accounting and consolidation.
  • knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience with SAP.
