Job Summary

Reporting into the Northern European Commercial Director, this role is critical for the Northern European cluster’s success. As Head of Ireland, you will be the country manager responsible for Kenvue’s entire consumer business and organisation in the market. You will lead a cross functional team to define medium term in-country strategy while delivering quarterly and annual financial targets. As well as ensuring the right marketing activation and P&L delivery, you will be directly responsible for the sales team including leading high-level retailer relationships. You will represent Kenvue in external associations and cross company work. You will build a strong, skilled and diverse team ensuring that we are positioned for long term success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead creation of medium-term strategy (3-year operating plan) for Irish market, connecting to Northern European and EMEA objectives.
  • Lead plans to build market share for Kenvue brands.
  • Ensure delivery of P&L commitments
  • Lead execution of Irish marketing plans and brand activation
  • Define and deliver sales strategy for the market, personally supporting the sales team and engaging in high level retailer relationships.
  • Build the capability of the Irish organisation, ensuring that coaching, training and development planning are implemented.
  • Act as the representative for Kenvue in external bodies and cross company initiatives.
  • Act as statutory director for Kenvue Ireland legal entity ensuring full compliance with all relevant standards/laws.

Qualifications

Experience Required

  • Extensive experience within the FMCG landscape, within a modern trade setting including grocery & pharmacy channels.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire followership from a team of over 30 across multiple functions.
  • Exceptional and proven business, commercial and financial acumen.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyse market, category and financial data, spot trends and drive creative solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high personal credibility to connect across the NE cluster, within Ireland and with external customers at senior levels.
  • Direct customer management experience is preferred due to the level of interaction with the sales team and external customers.
