YOUR NEW EXCITING CHAPTER IN THE WORLD OF AVIATION

We are now looking for Managers to Crew Control, SAS Operations Control Center, (OCC).
Crew Controll is responsible for staffing and monitoring all SAS Scandinavia’s and SAS Link`s flight and cabin crew’s roster. All crew’s roster shall be adjusted to ensure constant an always legal roster and that all SAS’ policies are followed on all flights during daily operations/execution phase. Staffing of SAS flights is based on applicable collective regulations and rules established by aviation authorities, OM-A/FTL
In this important role you will collaborate closely with specialists at the center of a complex operation and support them by continues improvements to ultimately secure schedule integrity. Furthermore you ensure a safe and secure operation, implement solutions to deliver brand continuity and protection, while promoting financially sustainable decisions.
The position report to the Head of Crew Control.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Establishes and maintain excellent working relationships and communication with all applicable stakeholders.
  • Mentors, coaches and appraises direct reports as part of the Performance Management to maximize their potential.
  • Ensures a collaborative work environment as well as accurate and continuous communication with all stakeholders.
  • Complies with all applicable business and industry specific legislative/regulatory requirements and a safe operation.
  • Represent OCC in various forums, participate in as well as lead various projects.
  • Ensuring and developing tools, routines & procedures.
  • Securing adherence to mandatory competence requirements and training planning.
  • General staff related matters.
  • Administration of the department and related budget activities.
  • Oversee work schedules and securing satisfactory manning at all times.
  • Manage recruitment to secure workforce balance in line with budget.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 5 years in a management position, preferably in an operational environment.
  • Profound ability to get people “on board” building strong and trustful relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proactive in your approach with a positive “can do” attitude.
  • Outstanding mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Well developed understanding of the airline business and knowledge of IASA and CAA regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, dare to take decisions and manage workflow.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Integrity, commitment to excellence, and service-oriented.
  • Experience from tactical work and Lean, budget work and financial follow up.
  • Very good command of English – both written and spoken
  • Position require Swedish residency and fluent in a Scandinavian language.

OTHER OF IMPORTANCE
This position requires you pass a security test including a background check.
This is a daytime position but you will from time to time work together with your team members at the shift.
